“Virtual Conversation about Practicing Civil Litigation” with H.T. Smith (Director of the Trial Advocacy Program at FIU College of Law), Juan Enjamio (Managing Partner of Hunton Andrews Kurth’s Miami office) and Detra Shaw-Wilder (Partner at Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton).

Smith, Enjamio and Shaw-Wilder have extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants, including individuals and corporations, in civil litigation. They will share their experiences and answer your questions regarding the best way to prepare for and pursue a career focusing on civil litigation. This series of virtual conversations explores different areas of law and helps current law students navigate the path towards their desired careers.

Who is invited? First and second year law students interested in learning more about what it means to practice civil litigation and how to prepare for a career in this area of law.

How to sign up? Please email Carolina Guerra Perez by 6 pm on November 1, 2022. Because it will be an interactive session, the event is limited to the first 40 students who RSVP. You will be provided a Zoom link by email before the event.
