With Katherine Fernández Rundle (State Attorney, Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office), Carlos J. Martínez (Public Defender, Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office), Lisa T. Roberts (Chief, Attorney Advisor, SEC, Miami Regional Office), and James Weinkle (Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida). 

They shared their experiences and answered law students’ questions regarding the best way to prepare for and pursue a career in the government and will provide tips for obtaining internships at the SAO, PDO, USAO-S.D. Fla, U.S. Department of Justice and the SEC.

Circle of 100 : Wine Night

John Kozyak and Barbara Silverman opened their home and garden on Saturday, March 19th for the Circle of 100 donors who donated $500 or more. They shared their wine collection and the group enjoyed good food and live Gypsy Jazz from the French Horn Collective. Seven of the Summer Fellows were able to attend.  Plans are already being made for next year’s donor appreciation event. This is a link to other photos.
